The Brooklyn Cafe in The Woodlands Houston Texas. It's hard to see from the main road but it is just off of Woodlands Parkway behind some trees. And next to Randall's. It's a large parking lot and it's easy to park. I came at a Saturday in the afternoon and it was very busy. Only a few tables were left available. It was a little messy with a few items on the floor and the tables were a little messy. We place the order most items are about $6 or 7. The employees were very friendly and went out of their way to accommodate me. They brought my food to the table. One person in our party did not get their food. They apologized and brought it out later. They also brought them an extra to go gift which I thought made up for the inconvenience of forgetting their order. Their order was delayed by about 30 minutes. I'm sorry to say that I thought the food was just okay. For the price I expected it would be a little more. But it is very convenient and in the Panther Creek Community Center. It was my first time here and I may come back again. I do recommend this to anyone.
In the past year I visited this location most Mondays. However in the past few months the service has completely gone away. I ask for the same bagel and prep each Monday. Five in a row now they simply cannot do what I ask. Time to move on as the owners have obviously turned this one over to employees that don't give a damn. Also, why do you hide the napkins? Strange.
We visited the Brooklyn Cafe on Saturday Oct 7 to have breakfast. I enjoyed the nice and clean ambiance of the cafe. The bagels with cheese and hot coffee was a good experience. The bagels were a bit hard but tasted good.
Great food. Friendly staff. Best bagels around with amazing cream cheese. Really recommend this place.
All in all, I'd come here again, but I can't wait for my next trip back home to get a real bagel.
The service was fast and prompt. A good place to visit and enjoy.
I'm from New York and have been dying for a decent bagel (and pizza, but that's another story). I stopped here and got a poppy bagel with egg and cheese and a coffee. I wasn't expecting to get a bagel like I would back home, so I wasn't disappointed. They were fresh, but thinner than what I'm used to (not necessarily a bad thing). The coffee was perfectly bold. Place seems clean. Employees were alright - a few were more concerned with their conversation about some friends than service, but I just wanted to get my food and leave, so that didn't bother me much.
