But my most recent experience was a nightmare which is why I’m gonna have to give it a 3 stars. Very very very rude nurses, doctor didn’t even listen to me when I talked , talked right over me. Didn’t help me whatsoever. It was so disappointing because as I was on my way to the hospital I was bragging of how wonderful this hospital is, I guess I spoke too soon
I had my daughter here in 2016 excellent excellent excellent experience that I loved so much. Have gone to the ER 3 times since, 2 of which we’re excellent as well,
I took my son in when his fever spiked to 105! They did not have any space available but found a small room to check his temperature, blood pressure, etc. They made sure I was comfortable along with my son when we went to a regular room. His arms were so chubby and his veins were so small that they couldn't get an iv in... He used an imaging machine to get a better view so he would not be in pain. They found out he needed more advanced treatment than they did there and so they called the ambulance to transfer him to Texas Childrens after looking which one my insurance would accept. Even though they didn't treat him completely they took great care of him while he was there. He could have died without their quick action.
I'm a 73 yr old woman who has seen many hospitals throughout my lifetime for various reasons and Memorial Herman Hospital in the Woodlands Texas is by far the best hospital I've been in. It's spotless , updated, big clean private patient rooms, the meals are delicious, I even wanted to get the recipe for their scrambled eggs. It's the only hospital I've seen, that offers room service. A fancy menu is always in your room and it appears to look like it belongs a fine restaurant. You can order a meal anytime of the time of the day. A nurse came in to take my vital signs at 2:30 in the morning, asked me if I want anything to eat, like a sandwich. I said do you know what time it is, she replied, "you can get a meal anytime of the day or night." You call room service and they reply with your name, the food is delivered within 20 minutes. I was just amazed plus the food was always hot on delivery. They pick up the tray about 45 minutes later. The nurses were excellent and had great attitudes. All medical staff is very strict concerning preventing infections. If I ever need surgery again, I will only have a doctor who is associated with Memorial Herman Hospital in the Woodlands of Texas. My daughter was born here a year and a half ago with an excellent service we received. Nurses are kind and helpful. It was 2 A.M. on the second day my daughter was born. She had a hard time sleeping. So, Julie the nurse took over the care for her from us for a couple hours and offered me and my wife a sandwich. It was the best testing sandwich I ever had. Anyways, it's the warmth of kind service that brought so much beautiful memory of the woman center here in MHTW. Thank you all. I would recommend this place for friends and family.
Memorial Hermann Hospital the Woodlands Texas Houston. It's a large hospital just north of Houston. It's right on I-45. It is easy to see from the interstate or from the side roads. It is difficult to find your way around because it is a large campus with many buildings. You will probably need directions to find the building you're looking for. The hospital itself is a large building in the center. It's easy to park and at the star Lobby they offer free valet parking. It's always clean and smells nice inside. The people are friendly and very helpful. It does take awhile for you to get registered and that is the slowest part of the process. Once registered things move quickly. I have been there before and I will go again. I highly recommend this to anyone.
