They misrepresented our insurance coverage SIGNIFICANTLY, even after I called them back and read them a letter from my insurance company. Now it seems we owe over $100,000 for a 3-day stay for my wife, if things stand as they currently are. If they say they take your insurance, be sure to ask specifically if they are in or out of network. They failed to mention when they said they took Blue Cross Blue Shield that they were out of network, and that their ridiculously high charges wouldn't be covered. In fact, they told me twice that they WOULD be covered. I was specifically told by two different people that all I would owe is the out-of-pocket maximum. Unfortunately, the insurance company doesn't agree.
Horrible. The "Doctor" Erik asked my boyfriend if he had insurance and he said yes. The doctor replied with "good I'm gonna get paid." Sick. He had nearly 25 stitches in his arm and they didn't give him a sling, pain medication, education on what to do about his injury, nothing. I'm sure they will bill us $10,000 too. But so glad the doc got paid! You are doctors and you are supposed to help people, not worry about your pay check. Do NOT go here.
Beware this is a fake hospital. They overcharge and lie about insurance. They don't take the insurance that they give their own employees. Everything about this place is dirty including their OR. If you are considering using a hospital go to a real one that isn't out to make a buck off people rather than providing a service that's there to help you. If you don't get mugged by the neighborhood behind this place you will get mugged by their medical billing. Don't forget they also operate out of a barbecue restraunt behind the family practice across the street.
Very dissatisfied with the level of communication from the staff to the family members. No communication at all unless we asked. The entire staff seems bothered to ask for any information. Seem like they're just here to collect a paycheck and go home. The security guard worked harder.
When I get sick I go straight to the er. The staff is great and they treat you like you are the only one there. I have no complaints about them
